For more than a century, River of Life has been ministering to the people of South Hill, Virginia, and the surrounding region. Through generations of change, one thing has remained constant: a deep commitment to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others.
River of Life has long been known as a church marked by authentic faith, genuine love, and a heart to serve. What began as a faithful local congregation has continued to grow into a place where individuals and families can encounter God, find community, and experience the hope of the Gospel.
Our story is built on the prayers, sacrifice, worship, and faithfulness of those who came before us. Their commitment laid a foundation that continues to shape who we are today.
As we honor our past, we also look with expectation toward the future. River of Life remains committed to being A Church for All People — a people who passionately worship, invite others to church, love and serve our community, and believe that through the Gospel of Jesus, lives are changed, addictions are broken, and families are restored.
